A Main Street Christmas

Kick off the holiday season with a Mount Airy tradition on Dec. 2!
A Main Street Christmas celebration starts off at 5:30 p.m. in the Railyard (3 N. Main St.) with a musical concert by area school groups as well as the lighting of the Town’s Christmas tree. The Mount Airy Presbyterian Church hand bell choir will perform several beloved holiday tunes directly after the lighting.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the Town’s annual Christmas parade featuring local organizations, groups, businesses, local bands and more will make their way through Downtown Main Street.
Come visit our town where true holiday spirit is about bringing the community together to share some memories, and make new ones!
