DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, December 5th the Carroll County Farmer’s Market welcomes Mr. & Mrs. Claus. She will be excepting letters to Santa. Parents bring your phones for a photo opportunity with the Claus’s. The seasonal Christmas Market and Hand Made Crafts Show will run Saturdays only 8:00am – 2:00pm thru December 19th. Each week there will be 75-100 vendors selling a wide variety of handmade and home produced goods. We have everything to help you with your holiday celebrations. \nThere will be local fresh eggs\, beef and pork\, nuts\, honey\, spirits\, jams and jellies. \nFresh evergreens\, wreaths and arrangements can be found for the holidays as well as seasonal plants. Home baked goods and other gourmet foods are also available: pies\, cakes\, cookies\, scones\, breads\, dip mixes and candy.

Every meal\, every stitch\, and every tool was made by hand. \nThis year\, as the Carroll County Farm Museum celebrates its 60th anniversary\, we honor those who came before us — the residents and caretakers of the almshouse — and the artisans and volunteers who keep their spirit alive today. \nEach room of the almshouse reflects a different trade\, task\, or tradition that shaped life here in the mid-1800s\, paired with the crafts that continue within our museum walls today. Visitors will experience a Christmas built by hand — past\, present\, and future. \nHours: Mon. – Fri. 9AM-4 PM and Sat. & Sun. 12-4 PM\nAdmission: $10 – Family\, $5 – Adults & children 11 yrs and older\, $4- Seniors
