Pieces will include sculpture\, paintings\, woodworking\, fiber arts\, and more! \nThe Carroll County Artists’ Studio Tour is a long-standing Carroll County tradition in its 40th year in 2024. This is a free\, self guided tour of studios and galleries in every corner of Carroll County. These “hidden gem” artisans provide a wide variety of medium and styles for you to enjoy with family and friends. Many will be demonstrating and all will be happy to answer questions about their work\, workshops and tools. \nReception: Thursday\, May 15 from 5pm – 7pm \nGallery exhibits are free and open to the public during normal business hours\, closed Sundays & Mondays

DESCRIPTION:Come experience an afternoon with one of Westminster’s great female activists\, suffragettes\, community volunteers\, and leaders. You will be immersed in Mary Bostwick Shellman’s life through her songs\, poems\, and letters. Historian\, author\, playwright\, actress\, and storyteller Darci Tucker brings Mary to life with her portrayal live on stage against the backdrop of original music\, poetry\, and period imagery. \nFood and beverages will be for sale during the event. This is a FREE event with donations being excepted the afternoon of the event for the League of Women Voters of Carroll County. \nThank you to everyone for making this event and our new Mary Shellman: Civil War to Suffrage Exhibit possible.
