DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Carroll County Artists’ Studio Tour and see the wonderful local talent we have right in our backyards. Pieces will include sculpture\, paintings\, woodworking\, fiber arts\, and more! \nThe Carroll County Artists’ Studio Tour is a long-standing Carroll County tradition in its 40th year in 2024. This is a free\, self guided tour of studios and galleries in every corner of Carroll County. These “hidden gem” artisans provide a wide variety of medium and styles for you to enjoy with family and friends. Many will be demonstrating and all will be happy to answer questions about their work\, workshops and tools. \nReception: Thursday\, May 15 from 5pm – 7pm \nGallery exhibits are free and open to the public during normal business hours\, closed Sundays & Mondays

DESCRIPTION:Carroll Singers Presents “Sun\, Moon\, and Stars” on Monday & Tuesday\, June 9 & 10 at 7:30 at Westminster High School\, 1225 Washington Rd\, Westminster MD. \nEach song will mention one or more of these celestial bodies. Sometimes the connection is obvious\, and in other cases\, it’s slightly more subtle. Some of the songs are: Blue Skies\, On the Sunny Side\, Fly Me to the Moon\, We’ll Meet Again and Written in the Stars. These concerts are made possible by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Carroll County Arts Council. \nTickets: $15 Adults ($12 in advance)\, $9 Students ($7 in advance)\, children under 6 are free.
