DESCRIPTION:Visitors can usually expect to shop for local\, farm-fresh produce\, meats\, free-range eggs\, a wide variety of baked goods\, jams and jellies\, salsas\, marinated olives and olive oils\, annual and perennials\, fresh cut flowers\, local honey\, locally-roasted coffee\, handmade soap\, a variety of quality\, locally created artisan items and crafts\, cheeses\, and much more! \nThe market normally welcomes anywhere from 25-40 vendors each Saturday. There is no charge for admission\, free parking\, and handicap accessibility. The market still features live music and freshly prepared breakfast for purchase each Saturday (another way of supporting local artists\, nonprofits and local businesses).

SUMMARY:A Century of Memories with Melvin Hurwitz & Steve Bowersox
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to be able to finally feature Mr. Melvin Hurwitz being interviewed by Steve Bowersox in a discussion for everyone! This will be a FREE event. We will have light refreshments which will include desserts and beverages (coffee\, Coke\, Diet Coke\, Ginger Ale\, and water). Please arrive early. The event will start promptly at 1 pm. \nMr. Hurwitz grew up in Westminster\, MD to a family of local jewelry store owners. Melvin graduated from Westminster High School in 1942 and\, like his other three brothers\, joined the service during World War II. Mr. Hurwitz was a waist gunner and radio man on a B-17 that flew bombing missions over Europe. \nMore recently Melvin has become a bit of an international celebrity because he attended the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. \nHe will celebrate his 100th birthday in March 2025. Founded by two educators\, Arnie Hayes and Robert “Doc” Kersey\, September Song is a non-profit community theatre based in Carroll County Maryland that annually draws a talented cast and production staff from Carroll\, Baltimore\, Howard\, Anne Arundel\, and Frederick Counties\, as well as Baltimore City and Pennsylvania. We are dedicated to spreading a quality gift of the arts through musical theatre to all of our participants on and off stage as well as to our audiences of all ages.
