SUMMARY:Carroll County Master Gardener Plant Sale and Garden Market
DESCRIPTION:The 13th annual Carroll County Master Gardener Plant Sale and Garden Market will be held Saturday\, May 16th from 8 a.m. – noon. The plant sale will be held in Burns Hall in the Carroll County Ag Center at 706 Agriculture Center Dr\, Westminster\, MD 21157. \nMost plants for sale are grown by Master Gardeners. Featured will be perennials\, especially native plants; herbs; annuals; vegetables; houseplants; shrubs; vines and trees. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice. The garden market will offer gently used garden related items. Prices are reasonable and there will be many varieties of plants. Please bring your own box to transport your plants. Cash or check only. Wagons and help transporting to your car will be provided. \nIf you need special assistance to participate in this program\, please contact the University of Maryland Extension Carroll County Office at least two (2) weeks in advance at 410-386-2760. DESCRIPTION:Join the Carroll County Master Gardeners to celebrate Earth Day at Piney Run Park’s Nature Center on Saturday\, April 26 from 10 am to 2 pm for a fun\, educational day full of activities for all. Learn about the many ways YOU can help protect and preserve the Earth for the future. Information about pollinators\, Bay-Wise/Water-Wise\, and monarch butterflies will also be on display. Learn about the 5 Million Maryland Trees for climate progress. Participate in the Environment Hunt that highlights some of the wildlife that lives at the Nature Center. This event is free but park entrance fees apply.
