SUMMARY:The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall
DESCRIPTION:The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall is a three-fifth scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in DC. The Wall stands 6 feet tall at the center and covers approximately 300 feet from end to end.\nThe Wall stands as a reminder of the sacrifices made during the Vietnam War.\nThe Traveling Wall was made for the purpose of healing and allows the community to visit and pay respect to the over 58\,000 names on the Wall in the quiet hills of Carroll County that many call home. This allows the community and beyond to visit the Wall who otherwise may not be able to make the trip to DC.\nThere will be other exhibits to teach the community of the sacrifices made by our Vietnam Veterans.\nRubbing papers for names from the Wall will be available.\nSome exhibits include\, Vietnam artifacts from a military historian\, Vietnam nurses\, War Dog\, POW/MIA\, Agent Orange\, military vehicles and more.\nThis is a free event and will be open 24 hours a day from October 9th to 13th\, 2025. All are welcome.\nAn Opening ceremony\, Agent Orange Awareness Night\, POW/MIA Remembrance Night\, along with invited dignitaries will be posted online soon.\nWe are honored to bring this event to the community and beyond.
