2024 Opening Day of Taneytown History Museum and the 2024 featured exhibit “All Aboard Rails & Tales”

Taneytown History Museum, 340 East Baltimore Street will open April 14th with a new exhibit “All Aboard Rails & Tales”. The railroad came to Taneytown in 1872. It brought both industry and personal transportation in the early 20th century. There will be railroad stories, railroad artifacts, a model railroad display and much more. There will be a new scavenger hunt with prizes. This exhibit will be available to be seen from April 14 – November 17, 2024. Museum hours: Fridays 10 am to 1 pm; Saturdays and Sundays 1 to 4 pm, closed holidays. There is ample parking in back of museum. It is wheelchair accessible. Free admission.
