Carroll County Farmer’s Market – Quilt Day

On Saturday June 27th the Carroll County Farmer’s Market will be holding its 11th annual Quilt Day. The Farmer’s Market’s own vendors will be displaying antique and new quilts at their booth throughout the market. Take a walk down memory lane and learn the history and story behind each quilt. Every quilt displayed has its own unique story. Barbara Myers from Everybody’s Quilt Guild in Westminster will be raffling off a quilt plus demonstrating hand and machine quilting along with piecing quilts.
Locally grown produce this week consists of: asparagus, lettuce, rhubarb, spinach, strawberry’s, sweet cherries, raspberries, blueberries, beets, yellow squash, zucchini, onions, summer turnips, kale, Swiss chard, and collards. There will also be farm raised beef, pork, lamb, honey, cheese, and fresh eggs.
