The Taneytown Heritage & Museum Association is sponsoring this annual event. Local individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations participate decorating a tree, wreath and/or centerpiece. All decorated items are donated for a silent auction benefitting the Taneytown History Museum.
All items will be on display in the lobby of ACNB Bank, Taneytown Office, 222 East Baltimore Street, Taneytown. Public viewing, voting and silent auction hours are Mondays through Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm; Saturdays 9 am to 12 Noon and closing date Saturday, December 16 from 9 am to 11 am.
Visitors can vote on items using voting system for example 1 penny = 1 vote, 1 quarter = 25 votes. The silent auction will conclude at 11 am on December 16. Winning bids will be announced at 11:30 am. Winning bidders must pick up and pay for items on December 16 by 12:30 pm.
