BARN QUILT TRAIL

The Carroll County Barn Quilt Trail is a collaborative project undertaken by the Carroll County Arts Council, the Carroll County Office of Tourism, the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks and the Carroll County Public Library.

Welcome to biking in Carroll County… where 10 loop tours, consisting of over 150 miles of cycling, offer varying degrees of difficulty. Our bike tours provide the recreational cyclist a unique view of scenic back roads while highlighting scenic stops and historic attractions.

There are ten public hiking trails within the confines of Carroll County. Since the county’s landscape generally consists of rolling hills, not mountain ranges, each of the hiking areas are accessible to people who are looking for a good workout rather than a steep challenge.
