Jennifer’s Munch’s grandfather kept bee hives and always had a dish of honey on the table. In 2015, Jennifer decided to add beekeeping to her projects around her farm. She started by taking a class with the Carroll County Bee Keepers Association and has been enthralled with bees, their life cycle, and their superorganism ever since. Jennifer will share her knowledge of bees, the important agricultural role they play, and the history of honey, which has been in the human diet for more than 8,000 years.
