FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Enjoy Carroll’s largest fireworks display at the Carroll County Farm Museum this Fourth of July. Grounds open at 4 p.m. with fireworks going off at sunset (approx. 9:30 p.m.). There will be entertainment, food/drink vendors and children’s activities to enjoy. Admission is $5 per car load.

Carroll County Celtic Festival
Please join us for the Carroll County Celtic Festival. A celebration of Celtic life and culture. Bagpipes, heavy athletics, stones of strength, bands: Seven Nations, Kyf Brewer and Barleyjuice, Poehemia, the Piper Jones Band, artists, craftspeople, children’s activities, great food, historic presentation, living history, and dance performances!
Admission:
Adults 16-64 – $18 in advance – $23 at the gate
Children 7-15 – $8 in advance – $13 at the gate
Seniors 65 and over – $13 in advance – $18 at the gate.
Children 7 and under are FREE.

Annual Central MD Farm Toy Show & Auction
Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair Board will be hosting their annual 34th Farm Toy Show on Jan. 21,2023 9 A.M. – 3 P.M. at the Carroll County Ag Center.
Toy Auction will begin at 5:30 P.M.
Food will be available for purchase. Admission $3.00. Ages 7 and under are FREE.
All proceeds go to the Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair.

A Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas
What do you get when you pair the beloved animated holiday film with a live performance of the film’s Vince Guaraldi jazz score? You get a fabulously festive show featuring the renowned Eric Byrd Trio! This annual presentation is always very popular with families as well as discriminating jazz aficionados and is a great way to celebrate the season.
Enjoy a screening of the holiday classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas, followed by a performance of the cartoon’s iconic score from the Eric Byrd Trio.
26th Annual Festival of Wreaths
A holiday wonderland of creativity and generosity! This event features over 100 unique theme wreaths and holiday art pieces that range from whimsical to wacky to wonderful! The wreaths are sold through an online auction that benefits the Arts Council. Now in its 26th year, the Festival of Wreaths at the Carroll Arts Center has traditionally been one of the most eagerly awaited holiday events in the County. While all the bidding is done online, the Arts Center still hosts a cheery display of all the entries for patrons to visit!
Veterans Celebration of Carroll County
May 7th from noon to 4 p.m. the Carroll County Farm Museum will be hosting a Veterans Celebration.
Free Admission: The event has free admission and free parking for everyone. Reminder: Carroll County Farm Museum is a LARGE, OUTDOOR venue (mainly grass), please dress appropriately for the weather.
Who Should Come: Everyone! This event celebrates Veterans, Military and their families, but everyone is invited to join in the festivities, whether you served or not. Join us to enjoy the day and thank a Veteran! Free admission and parking for everyone!

Food: Regional food trucks and concessions are onsite to provide food, beverages and desserts. Please stop by the food vendors and browse their menus. You are welcome to bring food to the event; coolers will be searched and glass containers and outside alcohol are not permitted.

Beer Garden: There will be a beer garden on site during the event. Visitors must have a valid state issued ID to patronize the beer garden. Patrons must have their ID checked and have a wristband to legally drink in the beer garden. Seating in the beer garden is first come first served and alcohol must not leave the beer garden area. Plan ahead for a designated driver.

What to bring: Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Wagons and coolers are also welcome.
We encourage you to patronize the on-site eateries, but you may also bring your own snacks.
No glass containers or outside alcohol are permitted at the Carroll County Farm Museum.
All coolers are subject to inspection prior to entry.
Pets: Please leave pets at home. Pets are NOT allowed on the grounds nor can they be left in vehicles during the event.
Where to park: Parking is available on site.
Those who need handicapped parking and those who wish to enter through the museum’s Main Gate on Farm Museum Road, please park in the Museum lots at 500 S. Center St., Westminster, MD 21157. A large handicapped parking area is offered on the Museum lot on a first come, first served basis.
Please note, if the museum parking lots reach capacity, they will be closed and all traffic diverted to the Carroll County Agriculture Center lot, adjacent to the back of the museum. We suggest coming early if you wish to park on the Museum grounds and enter through the Main Gate. The majority of parking is field/grass parking.

Civil War Encampment & Living History
Step back in time on the grounds of the Union Mills Homestead, Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16 for a Living History and Civil War Encampment. Two days of special events commemorate Civil War history at the actual encampment sites of J.E.B. Stuart’s Cavalry and Sykes’ Union V Corps. Visitors get a front row view of Civil War military forces and the effect on civilians at the Union Mills Homestead, where both Union and Confederate forces rested before the decisive battle at Gettysburg. The grounds will open both days at 9:00 a.m.
Admission to the park is $10 a car, which includes all the living history, reenactments, presentations, and walk-through tours of the house and mill.
